My opportunity is to create an automatic door lock for public schools, focused mostly in Miami-Dade Country to start with.
Who: I don’t feel like anyone falls outside of my boundaries because everyone that I’ve interview wants to feel safe. The only people that I could think about them falling outside of my opportunity are private schools. Private schools have their own policies and procedures that the public school system does not have.
What: There have been different procedures that have been done and protocols to keep schools protected but this will be a way that will have everyone stay safe. It will be economical, helpful, and it will help.
Why: The cause of the people in the outsider’s need is different because they have different ways of running their schools and a different system.

Hi Cristina! I think your idea is very great. I also agree with you that almost no one would fall outside of your target audience. I think that everyone who attends school wants to be and feel safe as well as the students parents and the employees. I really hope that in the near future someone, maybe you, will come up with a solution to school shootings.
ReplyDeleteCristina, I think that your idea is fantastic and definitely a great way to help kids stay safe. I agree with you in that not many people fall outside of the boundary, especially since it is such a general help and not something necessarily open to consumers only. Instead, the consumer is more in the breath of the school instead of families.
ReplyDeleteHi Christina. I think your idea to have locks on the school doors is a great option to help prevent bad things from happening on school campus. Especially with all the recent school shootings in the past few years I think more people should start to look at how to help protect schools better. Also it is important to keep a close eye on schools with bad neighborhoods.
